Glazier or Glass Cutter

We are looking for a Glazier or Glass Cutter who has great attention to detail! An individual who is good at sizing up, cutting glass and coordinating the warehouse function! About the Role: Apply your technical knowledge and practical skills to efficiently cut custom glass by hand for planned jobs QA of deliveries and ensure glass meets the AS1288 standards Read and understand blueprints and their specifications to identify necessary work details, including colour, shape, size, type, and thickness of glass to be installed Be an active hands-on team member in the field when required Receipt, acknowledge, pick, prepare and dispatch orders as required Monday to Friday 7.30 am 4.00 pm (Occasional Saturday) About you An understanding of AS1288 Glass in buildings An understanding of glazing techniques and requirements Experience Cutting Glass & attention to detail Ability to use a computer and organise paperwork Qualification in Glazing preferred but not mandatory A strong eye for detail and great time management skills An understanding and working knowledge of safety practices.
