We are seeking a dynamic self-starter for our newly created Business Development Manager – Franchise position within our Laser, Electrical and Plumbing Division. On offer is a unique opportunity to leverage existing relationships, create new partnerships and spearhead a new market offering. You will be joining a great team, under strategic Leadership to generate business and grow our existing revenue streams.

Your main duties will include:

  • New Franchise Member recruitment 
  • Increase number of opportunities delivered
  • Seek and secure joint marketing and branding opportunities for the property portfolio
  • Expand on service offering to existing accounts through the establishment of a broad property services offering
  • Develop strong and consistent relationships with clients through regular contact
  • Establish new relationships with customers in the Glazing Plumbing and Electrical portfolio as part of the O’Brien ‘property services’ solution

The successful candidates will have:

  • A strong self-drive to exceed sales targets
  • A passion for forging long term, mutually beneficial partnerships
  • 7+ years’ experience within sales or business development for a retail or services Organisation
  • A demonstrated ability to discover and convert new opportunities
  • Relevant trade-based industry experience
  • A minimum of 2 years account management experience and must be able to demonstrate a drive for results

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated experience in achieving business or market growth within glazing, plumbing or electrical business  
  • Industry based network and contacts
