About the Role: This role will act as the centre of our understanding to recalibration services and will have a strong focus on three main areas: Learning and development Streamlining processes to drive and increase productivity Continuous improvement to ensure OBrien remain the market leader in recalibrations Responsibilities will include: Developing central help desk for the total recalibration business Building & maintaining strong relationships with our key software provider Developing new service models with a strong focus on the changing needs of our customers government regulations Investigating mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems Maintaining compliance and building high levels of productivity Designing and maintain a tooling register for all recalibration equipment Building strength and knowledge within the recalibration business through sourcing and holding key technical talent Keeping up to date with software development within diagnostics Our ideal candidate: Our ideal candidate will have a combination of automotive, engineering and operational experience as well as a genuine passion for driving continuous improvement. They will be a natural leader with the ability to utilize relevant data to increase our productivity and overall capabilities. You will have: Qualification in one of the following: automotive engineering, automotive electrical, automotive mechanics, diagnostics A keen interest in diagnostics, with a strong desire to continuously improve our capabilities Effective communication & presentation skills - you will be the centre of our understanding and brain as it relates to recal services A high level of numeracy and technical competency, with an understanding of the applications used for vehicle diagnostics The ability to analyse and interpret data Good time-management and organisational skills Strong commercial and industry awareness.
